Our residents need friends.
Friends to talk to them, to read to them, to write a letter or help
them with the many simple day to day tasks the young and fit take for
granted.
What do Volunteers do?
Letter writing, Walking,
Card Playing, Gardening, Visits away from the Home, Shopping Trips,
Sing-a-longs, Dance Classes, Theatre Trips, Outings to local venues,
Picnics, Handicrafts, Morning and Afternoon Teas, Trips to Doctors,
Reading or just sitting and talking.
Are Volunteers covered by insurance?
Yes. The Home holds a range
of insurance policies including public liability and cover for voluntary
workers.
